career history

A few years ago I had the privileged role of being an 'SME Advisor' at The ICEHOUSE. I'm passionate about Kiwi businesses and I loved supporting the development of their Owner-Managers.  In May 2016, I started up SME People Ltd with my co-founder, business partner and father David Irving.

Earlier in my career, I was in recruitment. I spent 14 successful years in two large recruitment companies. I was a Senior Recruitment Consultant experienced in Strategic Business Development, Account Management, end-to-end Executive Recruitment and Executive Search (headhunting). I’ve worked all sectors and divisions including General Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Project Management and Support Staff. I now have 20 years recruitment experience.

Family & Founders

SMEs run in the family. I'm the proud daughter and Founding Business Partner of David Irving who founded The ICEHOUSE (SME Business Growth Hub) back in 2001, my husband, twin sister and my brother-in-law all own businesses. I can empathise with the ups and downs of the business growth journey.
